Chile is absolutely one of my all-time favorite places on the face of the earth. It has a wonderful heritage, near the majestic Andes mountain range, and is teeming with fantastic people. A favorite way to visit is by cruise ship to enjoy the highlights of this very long and narrow country. A lot of ships sail between Valparaiso and Buenos Aires. I wouldn't mind visiting for an extended stay on land!
