Dover, Eastern Docks

Several ferry lines operate numerous crossings each day. This French ferry line crosses the 21 mile crossing to Calais nearly 30 times a day. In addition to Sea France, P&O Ferries make even more crossings each day to Calais, while the Norfolk Line crosses to Dunkirk and LD Lines services Boulogne from the 9 docks on the eastern side of the Dover dock system. It is easy to understand why these docks are classified as the world's busiest passenger port system.

Thank you for leaving a comment. I always try to post a comment on your blog, but am having problems with some of the blogs accepting my comments. (My own blog will not allow me to comment.) Hoping this is resolved soon.
